Along the River Nagold
Aside
from swans, here are some other birds seen yesterday in
Pforzheim. A cormorant drifts downstream while a wagtail takes time out on a rock in the River Nagold. Two unusual ducks or geese do some synchronized swimming. These birds were unknown to me but could have been some sort of Muscovy ducks
or Egyptian geese.
Mallards were numerous and fighting over mates mostly. I saw several cormorants which are often seen on the Rivers Enz and Nagold. However, I failed to spot a single heron that are usually found here and often close to the town centre.
