This is just one page of explanation notes for EU citizens applying for a German pension in the EU 'community'. If proof were needed that the EU will never work, this must be it. Pages and pages of forms to fill out with proof of schooling and PROOF of where you have lived. An address alone is not enough. Almost every box has an explanation note numbered with varying requirements for each of the 28 possible member countries. So having read the question, which for most will be in a foreign language, you are then required to see if your country of birth requires more or less information.

Having worked most of my life in Germany and had numerous updates from the Berlin pension authorities they now want proof of my 'CLAIMED' ('Behaupteten' - their words) education with proof from the schools/colleges attended. Berlin has been sending me stuff for the last 40 years! Now they suddenly they need proof that I am not a liar. 

Meanwhile back in Spain another country that does not give a shit about the EU, things are even worse. We all know about Catalonia, a Spanish province that wants independence and Andalusia is no different, they just cannot be bothered to act as it is just too damn hot down there to get worked up about anything. Manana they say, they don't give a shit about the Spanish government let alone the EU.

On the other side of the Channel the British are doing their best to leave the EU and get rid of their Windrush citizens at the same time among any other foreign looking individuals. Many of these people have lived and worked their whole lives in these countries, while the well paid bureaucrats in all these countries have jobs for life and it is these hard working tax payers who have paid the bureaucrats and politicians wages over the years.

As for the USA, well lets not even go there.

Still the good news is I will soon have my own hobo stove made from an old baked bean can ... things can only get better.
