Peacock butterfly

This morning I captured my first butterfly photo of the year. Warm weather and sun (20C) has brought them out, although I have seen a few before today when it was much colder.

 Later in the afternoon a magpie plays fairy on the Christmas tree checking out the local area and I come across what can only be described as a tree the woodpeckers must use to practice their drilling skills.
