Product design

I have never really been that interested in product/industrial design and in recent years even less so as the amount of stuff being produced that is totally unnecessary is just beyond belief. Not to mention the energy needed to create such items and the later polluting waste caused by them, especially plastic items. However, I came across this YouTube video with some really great ideas and well worth a look at especially for those who have a DIY gene. I particularly liked the nail support seen above as it is so simple, so obvious, I only wish I had thought of it myself and 3D printed it.
