Stormy landscape

A view out of the window this afternoon. A storm moves through the Enztal bringing heavy rain, thunder and lightening. It's a frequent occurrence here especially in summer and although often intense these storms are usually soon over. Sometimes they come with hailstones and one year a golf ball sized one did smash one of my windows. It is the only place I have ever lived where the lightening flash and bang have been simultaneous. Today there was maybe a one second delay. Being high up also means being closer to the action.

It's Thursday but no rant today, I will let the angry storm clouds do that for me.
